Dean Flint, CEO

Mr. Flint is Chief Executive Officer of Action Resources, Inc. Prior to joining Action in 2007, he spent 14 years working for one of the largest Transportation and Logistics companies in the country, most recently as Vice President of Intermodal Operations. Mr. Flint has extensive experience in transportation ranging from maintenance to customer service/sales to operations. Mr. Flint received a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from the United States Military Academy and a MBA from the University of Indiana. Mr. Flint also served in the U.S. Army as a platoon leader and Blackhawk helicopter pilot in Operation Desert Storm obtaining the rank of Captain.

Steve Monson, General Manager / Vice President

Steve Monson has over 17 year experience in the logistics industry. He is a TIA Certified Transportation Broker and has been the subject a several industry articles including being selected as "Top 3 in Logistics Practices" by Logistics Management in 2006. Mr. Monson learned the ropes starting as a contract carrier rep. and working his way up as a dispatcher, team leader, operations manager and VP of operations before deciding to work for himself as a broker agent. Before joining the ARI team, Mr. Monson managed the brokerage division for a large publicly traded trucking company. Prior to that, he was the Logistics Manager for a mid-sized steel manufacture. Mr. Monson earned his business degree from Florida State University.

Shawn Sorah, Vice President

A native of Kansas City Missouri, Mr. Sorah has over 14 years of management experience. He is a US ARMY Veteran with a highly decorated career. After attending the University of Missouri Kansas City, UMKC, he moved into the corporate world and took leadership roles in companies such as Countrywide Full Spectrum Lending, Home Funds Direct, Freightquote.com, Grantham University, before joining the ARI Logistics team. Mr. Sorah brings with him an extensive background in both sales and the call center management and plays a key role in the continued growth of our truckload and LTL service platform.

Matt Gilleland, Controller

Mr. Gilleland is the Controller. He is a CPA and holds a Master's of Business Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Mr. Gilleland is responsible for all of the accounting aspects of the company, including internal financial reporting and budget preparation. He has over 18 years of experience in both public and private accounting.
